Miracle

Mood: Nonchalant, added with a figment of imagination, of emoness
Music: Passion ~opening version~ [From KHII]
Thoughts: Wishing that CAP will still continue because of the sudden realisation why she enjoys being solitary

Alright, after disappearing from the cyber world for roughly 10 days -counting these 2 weeks, I'm here to announce I'm back, with rantings and naturally, yelpings. Yes, I know I'm typing in an inquisitive manner that might arouse people's curiosity. What can I say? That aCAPella has influenced me? Or that the councillors' taste on words are too provoking that they have probed deep in my mind and dragged out the unconscious slumbering piece of blogging mind I had held captive? Or that a miracle has happened because of being banned from the computer for 10 days, not a mere hiatus but forced separation that made me dwell deep in the realms of reality? In any case, all of the above are true.

It has been an interesting week (s). I shall relate roughly, on what has been happening these few days. As with all long and windy blog posts, there will be an array of emotions displayed, bring you through a slight rolar coaster ride which you will (NOT) remember for life. It will however, stay in the blog as long as it is not removed. Which means the cyber annals will have this Miracle page etched in its columns, in binary numeral system that proves unreadable to all of mankind other than geeks. Technology geeks.

Well, the first week will be termed as tax week (physical). If everyone thought Napfa was bad, try this. Its a roughout week for all those who had never spent a night, a life, a thought for Pulau Ubin. The nature will consume all. Such isth the lifeth of us, thy MGS familyth. And thou MGS famiyth sufferedth under wrath of OBS. I might add, my group watch was named after famous Captain Cook. Aye, the sailor that sailed 3 times and got stabbed to death by some Natives because of a(ye) sheep. What a horrible death! The horror of all. But fear not, for my watch survived, and did not encounter any sheeps or natives. (Though I did see a group of wild boars back at camp.) That, though, is out of point. As brave, fearless, [CENSORED] (Sorry for the impulsive usage of swear word. There's freedom of speech, but there's always a catch. The AUTOsensor. -which is me.) MGS studentsth, we trekked, kayaked, rolled, bathed, complainedth, bugged, slept, cooked, mistakedth, played, gossiped... and the list goes on. Now I remember why I hate blogging... I keep getting tired of talking about things that past. Although I do like reminiscing, I hate writing about reminiscing. Back to point, we did a jetty jump on the last day. Must be one of the best highlights. There was only silence from everybody, and the sound of the sea beating against the massive pillars that stood the pier up. Where waves clash and the azure sky extend, only a solid piece of plank hold you above the water. Just take the plunge. Which I did. Happily. Did I mention I hate swimming? I was trying to swim even when it looks horrible from above. So yes, that kind of sums up OBS experience. With a touch of Shakespear and messiness and chunky words to describe my mood that time, I officially end off this paragraph.

Next up, I was bound to return home. Back to my domain, territory, the time where I spent terrifying everyone... I somehow wish I couldn't though. Its just not fair. Not fair to be happy and upset and upset on again until Monday. [Inserts random upset words that are CENSORED because of fear of teasing. And remembering the awful incident.]

So Friday passed solemnly, as with Saturday and Sunday. I tried hard to relive the life I had before OBS, and to try and get rid of the bruises and sunburnt skin. Nothing turns out well. There's always a series of unfortunate events. You know it, I know it, Kami-sama knows it.

(The next few will be in diary, poetry, prose, random ramblings format]

Monday. The official start of CAP. I just had to ruin it off by failing to bring my Ez-link card which I only realise after reaching the LRT station. No, that did not spoil my mood. Its the paranoma of being late as well as all the rushing that made me angry. I suppose I ought to be a little bit happy since I had (early) transport to NUS because of Mel. Anyway, we reached there really early and were lazing around. Surprise surprise, I saw J, from HCI. I wonder who remembered him... Those from BP, anyone remembered J who transferred to Nanyang in p3 because he got into Gifted? Anyway, I did not go and talk to him. There's nothing much to say anyway. Except that I bet he can't remember me. If he remembers me, it'll be a dream. So many years... *sigh* Anyway, we got our dormitory after registration. The splendour at Eusoff Hall stunned me. We were to have a single, squarish room each for our accomodation. It sounds much better than a tent. Plenaries of course, were meant for sleeping. Teas were excellent and the oh-so-wonderful workshops. My hands started swelling from the clappings of the dubak. (And I'm getting tired from typing, hence the choppy, no-link, words)

Arigato, Kami-sama
Tuesday.
I can't really remember the itenary
Breakfast was munchy
Noodles for us,
the whole lot with plenty of eggs
meant to power, meant for food
meant to keep my brain in check
I remember now,
SMO was then,
it killed my brain cells
just for going back
I see the 35 questions,
I see the whole lot of words,
I found myself staring
only at the clock
More plenaries
But I skipped them
The first scary workshop
left no impression
(I was gone you see.)
Then lunch came. I can't really remember
Was there anything
noteworthy after
Oh maybe, was it some dialogue thing?
I'm too lazy to get the booklet
Still there was
quite a lot of fun.
I found many friends
and learnt the cup game
The workshop again
I beat the dubak so much
my hand really hurts
and I wanna strangle
GEP and GEP
(Sorry for no rhyme and rhythm. I have not learnt anything from CAP. Not one thing. =) except to be irritating and abuse my ability to manipulate words. They lash out you know. And they consume, just like fire consumes all books. Like in Farenheit 451.)
Wednesday. The midday. It was fun. I think its today, that I had the excursion. Mr Alfian Bin Sa'at is cool, as well as his gangbang friends. From Mr Boo JunFeng to Mr Nicholas (Something), I enjoyed their talk. Kind of pitied those who went museum. Its more fun here! Shocking though, on M18 show. (Yes, we watched a M18 show because Mr Boo forgot to mention it was M18.) I got to hand my hat over to the visual artist. Now I think I shall dismiss it from my hands. I'm just not talented. Now I remember, the talk was yesterday.
The whole lot for today, was on dialogues. Interesting forum, and panels. I saw Eleanor Wong, who was targetted by the audience. She's bound to get invited again, with her quick reflexes. I think she recognised me. Or maybe the uniform. There was a wide grin on her face every now and then. I feel so much at home. Enjoying the talk... I think its nice to get immersed in a sea of writers, all unique in one way or another.
The last two days, I ought to add. A flurry of activities, as well as a whole lot of talking. We had a massive grand dinner, set in UCC. Then our performance, was really topnotch. Disco lights for the atmosphere? But of course! I'm not sure what else to write. But yea, it was really great. I'm bad at blogging, as much as I'm bad with coming up with a whole lot of poems and proses.
aCAPella to you guys. And I quote "Writers are solitary creatures." I declare myself not a writer, but a Manipulator of Words. Still, I have the personality of the creature, "Writers". Thus, I shall slunk off now. Farewell, my friends. Ciao. *edit* Might I add? I accidentally found the blog of a councillor while googling on Brian Gothong Tan. *inserts one dash, one vertical line, and another dash, followed by a couple of thin horizontal strokes**Tidbits for all*
